Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or accessing ReviewSeal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use ReviewSeal. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information when registering and to keep your business details up to date.

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You are responsible for all content and data submitted through your account.
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use ReviewSeal lawfully and ethically. You may not use the Service to misrepresent reviews, suppress genuine customer feedback, or violate any applicable law or third-party platform policy.

• You may not send review requests to customers who did not request or receive your service.
• You may not use the Service to harass, threaten, or impersonate any person.
• You may not attempt to access, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.
• You may not resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.

4. Review collection & no review-gating

ReviewSeal helps you request reviews from your customers. We do not provide review-gating functionality — that is, we do not help you filter, suppress, or discourage reviews based on a customer's expected rating. Every customer you invite is free to leave any rating they choose, and you must not use ReviewSeal to prevent negative reviews from being posted.

• Customers must freely choose whether to leave a review.
• Customers may leave any star rating they wish.
• ReviewSeal does not suppress, hide, or filter negative feedback.
• You are responsible for complying with the policies of Google and any other review platform.

5. Third-party services & Google Business Profile

ReviewSeal can connect to your Google Business Profile using Google's secure OAuth authorization. When you connect, Google grants ReviewSeal limited access to manage your business location, display reviews, and submit responses on your behalf — all subject to Google's terms and API policies.

• Google Business Profile is a trademark of Google LLC. ReviewSeal is not owned by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.
• ReviewSeal never sees or stores your Google password. Authentication is handled through Google's secure OAuth flow.
• You are responsible for complying with Google's Terms of Service and API policies when using connected features.
• You may disconnect your Google Business Profile at any time, after which ReviewSeal stops syncing data for that location.

6. No guaranteed results

ReviewSeal does not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to five-star reviews, improved ratings, search rankings, or increased business. Results depend on your customers, the quality of your service, your industry, and many other factors outside our control. We provide tools to help you manage your reputation; we do not promise particular results.

7. Subscriptions, billing & free trial

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis depending on the plan you select. A free trial may be available for new accounts; trial terms are displayed at sign-up. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees until you cancel.

• Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
• You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice for new billing periods.

8. Intellectual property

ReviewSeal, including its name, logo, software, design, content, and branding, is owned by ReviewSeal and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these terms. You retain ownership of all customer data and content you submit to the Service.

9. Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance and occasional downtime may occur. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruption beyond our reasonable control.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReviewSeal and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReviewSeal from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights, including review-platform policies.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if your activity poses a legal or security risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — remain in effect.

14. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ReviewSeal operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
