• Account information: your name, email address, business name, and business details you provide when registering.
• Customer data: customer contact information you import or enter for the purpose of sending review requests.
• Review data: reviews, ratings, and responses synced from your connected Google Business Profile.
• Usage data: information about how you interact with the Service, such as feature usage and device information.
• Communication data: records of support requests and other correspondence you send us.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, specifically:

• To send review requests to your customers on your behalf by SMS or email.
• To display, monitor, and help you respond to reviews from your connected platforms.
• To generate suggested reply drafts and provide analytics and insights.
• To communicate with you about your account, billing, and updates.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.

4. Google authentication & third-party services

When you connect your Google Business Profile, authentication is handled through Google's secure OAuth authorization flow. This means:

• ReviewSeal never sees or stores your Google password.
• You grant ReviewSeal scoped, limited access to manage your business location and reviews.
• You can review and revoke ReviewSeal's access at any time through your Google account settings.
• Disconnecting a location in ReviewSeal stops all data syncing for that location.

5. Customer data & review collection

You are responsible for the customer data you import or enter into ReviewSeal. You must have a legitimate basis for contacting your customers, such as their consent or a prior business relationship. Customers you invite through ReviewSeal freely choose whether to leave a review and may leave any rating. ReviewSeal does not suppress, filter, or gate reviews by rating.

6. Data sharing & service providers

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Service — such as SMS and email delivery, payment processing, and analytics — under contractual obligations to protect your data. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you close your account, we will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business records. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify affected users of any material data breach in accordance with applicable law.

Your information may be processed in a country different from where you are located. Where applicable, we take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place.
